January Working Bee
Several maintenance tasks have been carried out on the premises over the January break, principally (but not solely) at the Epiphany working bee.
These include –
- Small tables sanded and varnished
- Outside windows cleaned
- Red chairs cleaned and broken caps replaced where necessary
- The third and final cupboard on wheels in the Dene Room sanded back
and varnished - Blocked downpipe cleared
- Several touch up painting chores (including some downpipes)
- Stash of glass jars in the Kitchen cleaned out and distributed – members of
the congregation are asked not to leave any further empty jars in the Kitchen - Car park cleaned up
- Manse tree overhanging the car park trimmed back
- The blackout boards for the Chapel windows painted
- Candle grease removed from the Chapel carpet
- Dene Room carpet cleaned
- The star put up and brought down
