The series about Geometry in Art and Architecture called ‘Seeing things in a new Light’ begins next Thursday 8th Marc 2012. The first session in the series is titled “The Symbolic Meaning of Numbers”.

Peter Brinkworth says, “From ancient times, numbers have had a symbolic meaning which found expression in both sacred and physical spaces. Numbers are associated with ideas and relationships which can be found in geometric shapes. These in turn are incorporated into architectural shapes, designs and patterns.”
