Banjo’s Australia – Continuing Learning 2014
“Banjo’s Australia”
…a five-week series which explores the geography, history, culture, discoveries and some future challenges of the eastern states of Australia.
This week is the final week of our popular series: “Banjo’s Australia”. This week our focus is on the “Lake Eyre Basin”, the northern edges of which Banjo Paterson visited in the late 1800’s. This is another large and significant area of Australia which has many aspects to explore.
As always, join us in the Chapel on Thursday mornings at 10.15am for morning tea; followed by the talk commencing at 10.30am. Sessions cost $5 and this includes morning tea.
Talk with Anne Grear or Joan Hazeldine for more information.
