Messy Church Christmas Gift bags: Once again we plan to give the Messy Church families a Christmas gift bag at the final Messy Church for the year (on 4^th December). Included will be a novelty gift for the table or tree, a grace to say on Christmas day, a message from BUC, celebratory balloons, and this year a Christmas craft for each child to make (a Christmas tree craft with a battery-powered tealight candle).

The cost of the bags will be somewhere between $5 – $10. We also recently purchased 20 Messy Church calico carry-bags (cost $5 each) which we would like to give to the families to take home their crafts etc in each month. As in previous years, if you would like to contribute to the cost of either the Christmas gift bags or the Messy Church carry bags, please see Marnie Agnew (email: agnew05@bigpond.net.au mob: 0408 474 699), or leave a donation at the office, or put it in an envelope marked ‘Messy Church Appeal’ in the offering bag.

If we have any extra money we can make the Christmas Tree craft available to Playgroup families as well. Last year the feather angels were loved by both Messy Church and Playgroup families. It is a lovely way to connect with the families in our community in the season of peace and goodwill at Christmas.
