Life and Faith at the Roundabout ~ The sequence of forums for 2011 commences on Thursday 19th May, 7.30pm with the theme “From Multiculturism to Cultural Awareness”. The speaker will be Dr. Deslie Billich from the Law Faculty, Flinders University. Dr Billich is a Director of MARRC, (Migrant and Refugee Research Cluster) at Flinders. She will argue that multiculturism, at best, can only lead to tolerance while cultural awareness promotes understanding and acceptance.
