Blackwood Uniting Church is hosting website training sessions for Congregational web team people.

The second session is 21st of May…

You’re all welcome to attend either or both sessions.

Please do mention this to others in our church who may be interested. Anyone who’s comfortable with Word documents, emails and browsing the internet will find this both fascinating and easy! We can always use more people on our team – each person can do as much or as little as they are comfortable with. It works well when a person has a little corner of the website that interests them to look after.

WordPress Introduction
An introduction to WordPress (version 3.5 or 3.6) and the basic skills needed to update pages, add images, galleries, files and items to the event calendar.

WordPress Intermediate
An overview of how WordPress can be used to enhance communication through forms, surveys, embedding media (MP3, Documents) and how your site can be styled by changing the congregational template. Q&A time along with a follow up from the previous session will also take place.
