I write to advise of the death of Valmay Penna, much loved wife of the Reverend Elwyn Penna. In retirement, Valmay and Elwyn were part of the congregation at Hallet Cove and most recently Malvern Uniting Church (click this link for a map). Valmay’s funeral will take place at 2pm at Malvern UC on Monday July 14, followed by afternoon tea.

We give thanks to God for Valmay’s life and her service to Christ and the church through her genuine acceptance of others, her compassion, encouragement and hospitality. We offer our sympathy and prayers for God’s comfort and love for Elwyn, and their family.
